Mike joined Jacksonville Bass Club in 2002 as a part of the Outhouse Anglers/ Jacksonville Bass Club merger. Mike has been fishing in clubs for a number of years. He was an original member of the now defunct Bold City Bass Club and has fished with the Keystone Bass Club. Mike has won many tournaments, angler of the year titles and classic tournaments over the years. Mike won the 2006-2007 Classic at Lake Istokpoga and placed 3rd at The Lake Talquin Classic. Mike won the August 2009 Tournament held on the St. John's River in Welaka with 12.98 lbs. and had the big fish of 7.12 lbs.
