We are fast approaching our 8th great year of putting on a tournament for the young boys at the Rodeheaver Boy's ranch. The tournament is out of the ranch in Palatka Florida on Saturday March 8th from safe light until noon. We are half way there with the number of boaters needed to have one boy per boat. If you know someone who has a boat and who would love to take a kid fishing for a half day, please forward this email to them. In addition to a buffet breakfast and lunch provided by the staff of the ranch, there will be numerous door prizes (Kistler rods, 10- $50 Wild West Guns and Gold gift cards, StrikeZone gift cards, and more) given out to the boaters at the weigh in. Thanks to our sponsors Wild West Guns and Gold, Brian Smith roofing, Key Buick/GMC/Hyundai, Circle Double Bar-A Farms, Hedgehog Lawn Service, Bass Assassin, Miller Electric, StikeZone, Williams and Rowe, Dr. George S. Trotter, Harrington and Associates, Kistler, Roy Wires, Gander Mountain, S & A Leisure, Messers Westside bait and tackle, Buck n Bass, Bohannon Battery, Home Depot, and the St. Johns, St. Augustine and First Coast Christian Bass Clubs, we will also be able to give every young boy a hat, shirt, and sunglasses for the event, and give out some great prizes to our winners.

Here is the current list of boaters, with shirt size noted next to their name. If you don't see your name on the list, please send me a note with your shirt size. Also, if you are willing to bring live bait (crickets, minnows, shiners, etc.), please let me know. Remember we have two events in one with this tournament: a live bait side (boy can weigh in anything but trash fish) and an artificial side (bass only- we will have permits). Please email me with any questions.
